How does Lumen work?

The Lumen device cannot be used on its own, it requires a mobile phone app. This is provided free of charge by the manufacturer for both andoroid and ios phones. The app is available in English only! 

The use of the device itself and the measurements can be learned quickly, so no language skills are necessary. However....

The phone app provides hundreds of videos, recipes and a wealth of dietary advice. It provides daily customisable advice on tailoring diet, physical activity. It provides a log of food intake and calculates its composition. In other words, with an intermediate level of English, you can get the most out of the wealth of help Lumen provides. 

You can also buy a monthly or annual subscription. These are quite expensive, but worth it (for those who speak English well) because they come with strong support. 

If your English is not good enough, we do not recommend buying a separate subscription. The purchase of the device itself gives you free measurements for life and you can also use the basic features of the app.
