FoamRoller foam roller: a tool for patients and athletes to relieve muscle pain, stretch, warm up and improve muscle recovery.

The foam roller's greatest benefit is that it provides many of the benefits of physiotherapy and massage. Meanwhile, a foam roller is less expensive than a single gymnastics or massage, but can be used for years. Of course, it is not a substitute for either exercise or massage. But for someone who can afford few treatments, it is well worth choosing and using a foam roller.

Benefits of Foam Rolling

Increases blood flow

Muscles are stretched and loosened during foam rolling exercises. The foam roller squeezes the blood out of the muscles, while fresh blood flows in its place, bringing vital nutrients such as oxygen and glycogen to the muscles, fasciae and tendons. You can control the "pressure" of the foam roller, the intensity of the massage. The more you put your body weight on it, the less pressure you apply.

Improved mobility and flexibility

Better supplied with blood (hydrated) and looser muscles move with less friction. During exercise, movements are smoother and muscles are less likely to pull or get injured.

Reduced risk of injury

Improved blood flow, mobility and flexibility result in better body coordination. The likelihood that an incorrect movement will lead to injury is significantly reduced.

Reduced recovery time

Increased blood circulation flushes out accumulated waste products such as lactic acid. Muscles get the nutrients they need faster, resulting in better recovery. Muscles recover from the fatigue of exercise more quickly, allowing for a more intense workout.

Spiky spiked foam roller

The spiked foam roller is designed for deep massage and acupressure therapy. The spikes are perfect for deep tissue massage to relieve muscle tension and pain.

Mistakes

  • Rolling directly on the painful area
Take your time and start by massaging the region around the painful area before treating the problem area.
  • Treating too quickly.
If you roll the body part on the roller too quickly, the muscles will not have time to adapt to the compression and deal with it. Therefore, rolling too fast will not eliminate the flattening. Rolling should be done with slow movements.
  • Focusing too much on one point. Too much and too strong pressure can even damage tissue or nerves. The point of rolling is to slowly apply pressure over a specific muscle group.
