PURPOSE OF WARM-UP
- to bring the resting muscles into a "ready for action" state
- resting muscles, tendons and ligaments are stiff
- the blood supply to the resting muscle is moderate, and some of the capillaries and arthelioles are closed
Non or insufficient warm-up means an increased risk of injury!
Non-warm-up or insufficient warm-up significantly increases the risk of injury. Especially in activities where high intensity is required from the first moment.
Strain, sprains, tears at the first sprint or jump are very common!This is typically an injury to an untrained muscle, tendon or ligament!
Injury can cause you to lose weeks or months of training!
SO NEVER UNDER TAKE THE MINIMUM TRAINING COMPETENCE!
